One Family Scholars
The One Family Scholars program provides college scholarships coupled with career development and leadership training for formerly homeless and at-risk mothers to set forth on a viable career path. Selection is based on academic promise, leadership potential, demonstrated work ethic, and financial need.

Through the program's unique combination of financial aid and the support of an "extended family", Scholars have the opportunity to achieve their goals and break the cycle of generational poverty. Ethnically and racially diverse, the Scholars are striving to become the leaders with the skills, knowledge, and credentials to inform and improve the systems that affect all at-risk families. They view the program as a life-changing opportunity that in the words of one Scholar provides the "key to unlock an iron door."

Directions

From the West
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Rte. 90 East) into the city. Exit at Copley Square #22 and follow straight onto Stuart St. Follow to the 5th set of light and turn left for the hotel.

From the North
Take Rte. I-93 South into city. Exit at Storrow Drive #26. Follow Storrow Drive and take the Back Bay/Copley exit on left. At traffic lights take a left then a quick right onto Arlington St. The Hotel is the second building on the left after the park.

From the South
Follow I-93 North towards Boston. Follow Storrow Drive and take the Back Bay/Copley exit on left. At traffic lights take a left then a quick right onto Arlington St. The Hotel is the second building on the left after the park.

From the MBTA
The Boston Park Plaza Hotel is across the street from the “Arlington” stop on the Green line.
